This private equity investment firm invests in medium-sized businesses in northern Europe. They focus on companies with the potential to create sustainable, long-term value through changing economic cycles and work closely with management to achieve that.

Currently invested in companies in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, they have combined sales of around €15 billion and more than 67,500 employees.

This is a 12-month graduate internship based in Mayfair paying £22,000.

Day-to-day activities will include:

• Act as first point of contact for enquiries from banks, Triton deal teams and other third parties (lawyers working on deals) relating to the ownership structure of portfolio companies (PC)
• Update PC ownership charts in liaison with Luxembourg SPV controllers and Jersey financial controllers
• Answer follow up queries from banks relating to the ownership structure
• Maintain a log of all enquiries and chase banks to ensure the AML process has been completed
• Maintain a tracker of external Non-Disclosure Agreements in liaison with deal teams and Triton e-signing team
• Update the restricted list on the Compliance Portal
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports and other filings by Group companies to regulatory agencies and bodies or otherwise in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements with focus on UK FCA and AIFMD reporting
• Provide, or assist the Head of Compliance in providing, regulatory, compliance and AML/financial crime updates and reports to senior management and governing bodies of Group companies, both periodically and on a one-off basis
• Work with the Head of Compliance in developing, preparing, and maintaining AML policies and procedures, as well as related training programmes
• Monitor relevant AML and UK compliance legislation, regulations, and other applicable requirements, and take follow-up action as required
