Business Transformation Graduate Programme - Belfast
What is Business Transformation at EY?
The world of business is constantly changing. For our clients, this can create better ways of doing things but it might also involve more risks. In Business Transformation, we focus on imaging, designing, leading and delivering end-to-end transformations for our clients.
This programme starts in January 2021.
What will you be doing?
- Working with a variety of clients from start ups to recognisable financial services organisations
- Listening to client problems and defining strategies and solutions
- Developing proposals and business cases for EY or our clients
- Analysing trends in industries like banking, insurance or telecommunications, media and technology
- You’ll also be expected to be flexible and spend large proportions of your time away from your office.
Are you eligible to apply?
We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need to be working towards an honours degree in any subject, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply.
Duration: Two-year programme
You will have the option of completing a CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting. You'll also have access to a broad suite of learning resources to develop your consulting and technical skills including our EY Badges programme which offers structured learning leading to accreditation in a range of subject domains including programming, data visualisation and blockchain.
Dependent on location, salaries start from £19,250 per year
Applications: Monday 23 November 2020
Online assessments: Friday 27 November 2020
EY Experience Days: Will be held throughout November - December 2020
We highly recommend you complete the stages for this programme as soon as possible
How’s it structured?
After induction, you’ll join your team in UK & Ireland (UK&I) and jump straight into work on real client projects.
The programme lasts two years and will provide you with a variety of experiences and learning opportunities to support your development. On the job we'll help you develop the skills to decipher how each client problem is different and to find innovative ways of solving them. You'll be part of a large graduate community which is a great opportunity to build your network, participate in corporate sustainability events and develop your leadership skills.
In UK&I, our clients span government and public services, energy, retail and telecommunications and media and technology.
You will have the option of studying for a CIMA qualification in Business Accounting in your first year and throughout the programme you'll have access to training and development resources as well as support from colleagues within your team. Since no two projects will be the same, we’ll coach and mentor you in a way that will prepare you for anything.
By the time you finish, you can expect to be well on your way to becoming a Senior Consultant with the opportunity to build a specialism in your preferred area.
What type of work will I be doing?
As a graduate in Belfast you will have the opportunity to work in our Business Transformation competency.
