Business Sales Executive



Legerity is pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Executive with a primary focus on the Insurance Sector and the new IFRS 17 accounting standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high growth and dynamic company in an expanding market. For the right individual a move into a senior sales management role is a real possibility.

You will be targeting new clients within the UK and European insurance market

Ideal Candidate:

  • Interest in the insurance landscape – players, challenges and strategy
  • Ability to learn in order to have conversations with prospects to address major change
  • A hunter learning how to build new business sales and breaking into accounts
  • Organised, self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Passionate and high energy
  • Understanding the need for IFRS 17 in the insurance market and Legerity messaging


  • Researching and calling prospects to arrange meetings/calls
  • Achieving qualified meeting/call targets
  • Compiling the weekly activity and prospecting pipeline report
  • Understanding the main competitors and their positioning in the marketplace
  • Assisting direct marketing activity including support of seminars, managing the invitation list
  • Using a CRM system to manage calls, deals and leads
  • Sourcing potential new leads via sources including social media and business publications

Experience and skills

  • Graduate role, fast learner, motivated, organised
  • Confidence in own ability, outgoing and persuasive
  • Understanding of building and managing business relationships at all levels
  • Commitment to delivering results
  • Competent user of computer software and applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, etc, Salesforce training to be provided)
  • Enjoys working in team environment, as well as individual goals
