What you’ll be doing
Working within the New Product Development team, you will be involved in the development of innovative liquefied gas technologies. From design to procurement to marketing you’ll be involved in making real time decisions which will shape the strategy of the business. Whatever the task at hand, risks need to be identified and managed, stakeholder requirements satisfied. Along the way, you’ll develop strong relationships with colleagues in engineering, commercial, financial and procurement functions. With that professional network behind you, you’ll have everything you need to tackle anything that comes your way.
What you’ll get out of it
During the summer placement, you’ll get the opportunity to work in a department relevant to your degree subject so you can start putting theory into practice. You can expect to work on current projects where you’ll have real input and learn how to work safely in a workplace environment.
What you’ll need
- To be in Year 3 (or above) in your studies of a relevant degree
- To be able to satisfy the MoD’s security requirements (you may need to complete a medical assessment)
