Role: Business Development Representative

Salary: £30k – £35k (DOE) + Uncapped Commission (45k OTE)

My client is an innovative company making waves in the gifting technology space; growing from £100k revenue in 2018 to hitting £35 million in turnover this year, they are now looking for their first BDR to tap into the European market and continue this hyper growth in one of the most exciting SaaS companies on the market!

Their platform is a revolutionary and highly scalable gifting technology which enables companies to maintain and grow customer loyalty, increase retention and win new business through marketing and reward campaigns. They are integrated with Amazon Business, which has connected their platform to thousands of businesses across the globe.

In joining this incredibly exciting company you’ll have the opportunity to progress into a 360 role within 6 months and manage the outbound sales function from day one. Your ideas will be shared and taken on board, and you will have a say in the direction of growth. This is the perfect time to join as the sales team will grow underneath you, with plans to bring in 4-5 BDRs next year, so now is the perfect time to join to be at the forefront of that growth!


The Role

·       Book outbound meetings through various channels of outreach – cold calling, videos, email, networking, etc.

·       Conducting product demonstrations.

·       Build rapport and nurture relationships with prospects and existing clients.

·       Engage with prospects (from CRM managers to C-level executives) and articulate the product effectively.

·       Generate and manage sales pipeline; maintain spotless admin and update all activity in HubSpot.

·       Use other tools such as Google Analytics, Visitor Queue, and Crossbeam.

·       Work in conjunction with the Sales Account Manager and CEO to convert opportunities created into sales-qualified leads.


The Ideal Candidate

·       Minimum 6 months sales experience (SaaS / Tech Preferable).

·       Resilient – the ability to carry on in the face of rejection.

·       Coachable and accountable – always open to constructive feedback.

·       Hunter mentality with the desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·       A self-starter who is ambitious and driven to grow with the company.

·       Great communication skills and a natural networker.

·       Flexibility to work with global clients.
