Business Development Manager - Fintech Payments Sector

£60,000 - £70,000 DOE + Uncapped OTE

An incredible opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to take the next step in their career and be part of something special. Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager o be part of the founding direct sales team here in Europe. The Role:

  • Identify and approach prospective customers directly
  • Negotiate and close deals - generating net-new business
  • Become an expert/build on your existing expertise in payments
  • Travel and network within the region if necessary
  • Work closely with Partnerships, Account Management and Integrations teams if necessary to win large contracts supported by marketing


  • You have 5+ years B2B demonstrable experience ideally within the payment sector
  • You have a consistent track record in winning new customers in new verticals and regions
  • You are a proven individual contributor in a full-cycle Sales role
  • You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial flair
  • You subscribe to MEDDPICC or a derivative of
  • You have experience using Salesforce as the core CRM
  • Driven, determined and motivated
  • Entrepreneurial outlook
  • Strong personal motivation and ambition
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills
