Business Development Executive - Tech Start-up: Fashion Sector

We are a London based tech start-up offering an innovative, e-commerce solution into the fashion and retail sector. With 2000 client worldwide (1200 of them brought on in the last year alone), and financial backing from the ex-CEO of ASOS, we're growing faster than ever before. Having conquered the UK market, we are looking to expand the platforms reach globally. Our vision is to grow our firm from the bottom up - we hire talented people and place a huge emphasis on training and development within a start-up environment.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for sharp-minded grads with excellent communication skills to join our growing team as a Business Development Executive. You will be responsible for acquiring new clientele, reaching out to C-level Executives from some of the biggest players in the fashion and retail sector. You'll have a lot of autonomy in this role and it'll be down to you which companies you target and how you go about bringing them on. We offer real career opportunities with a clear progression path within a young, friendly, fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our commercial desk has doubled in size in the last year and we have projected comparable growth rates for the coming year. As a result, expect promotion to Business Development Manager after 3-6 months where you'll be managing your own clients and growing your own sales team after year 1.

We are looking for resourceful, bright and confident candidates with the following:

Degree at grade 2:1 or above from a top 30 university

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Hardworking with a can-do attitude

An interest in the fashion sector

Main Responsibilities will include:

Researching global active players in the e-commerce space

Pitching our product and booking meetings for your business development manager

Developing relationships with these clients and ensuring they're getting the best possible experience with the platform

Representing an integral sub-brand of the business and with that a young, dynamic team
