Business Development Executive - Food & Drink

This successful food and drink marketing start-up are quickly getting a name for themselves, having been named one of the UK's top 10 start-ups and having successfully pitched on BBC's Dragons' Den! With their innovative alcoholic beverage membership boxes, this start-up not only supply their subscribers with fantastic surprise goodies each month but also assist food and drink companies with their marketing campaigns through increased brand exposure. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business by targeting the marketing budget of food and drink companies and create bespoke marketing solutions for them. In return you will be rewarded with the opportunity to have an autonomous position with prospects for progression and growth alongside the company's own growth journey. If that wasn't enough, you will also take part in regular product tastings and have the opportunity to attend industry events!

The Role:

Through market mapping, you will identify and target brands that compliment your subscribers' tastes and could benefit from your assistance with their marketing campaigns.

Proactively contacting prospective clients and identifying key contacts within these companies to understand their marketing requirements.

By pitching the benefits of how your expertise can offer invaluable support with the marketing campaigns of food and drink companies, you will be able to target the marketing budgets of these businesses.

Using your creative flair, you will create compelling, bespoke proposals to companies in their marketing campaigns through product sampling, content marketing and consumer insight.

Successfully managing your accounts by maintaining contact with clients post-sale and identifying any future opportunities to up-sell and encourage repeat business.
