We are a new breed of audience intelligence platform that's re-inventing social media monitoring. We track conversations in 170 languages, across millions of social and news sources, collecting 100% of the data publicly available. Born out of 6+ years of experience with social data, we enable marketers to go beyond keyword tracking to map brand audiences, track how content spreads and measure the reach of social conversations. That means that we don't just look at what people are saying: we look at who they are to help companies better connect with them. In the last six years, we've been defining what social media research is and what it can do within research, marketing and beyond.
For this role, we are looking for an interest in social media, a basic understanding of marketing as well as a can-do-will-do attitude. This role will be interfacing with future clients, so this person must be personable, confident and used to speaking with a wide range of people, with a wide range of interests. This is a sales role and therefore we want someone who loves selling, enjoys competition and can push on through hard times - the role is phone based, so again enjoying working on the phone is an absolute must-have.

We are looking for resourceful, bright and confident candidates with the following:
* 2:1 Degree or equivalent from a Top University
* 6 months experience in Sales / Cold-calling preferred, otherwise a strong background or keen interest and desire to learn.

Main Responsibilities will include:
The role of the "BDE" sits within our commercial function, specifically within the Inside Sales team. The role's primary function is to surface new business targets for the UK based Business Development Managers to take into a sales process and ultimately turn into subscribing clients. This lead development is largely done through cold calling and networking.
On a day-to-day basis, your time will be fairly structured between lead generation, cold calling as well as training sessions. The objective of these calls will be to book in demos with potential clients within a particular area (i.e. agencies, brands or markets) and feed these leads to your team's business development manager.
You will be responsible for generating your own leads through your own research, and managing the process of scheduling in any demos that have been confirmed. Our clients include: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Spotify, Mazda, Publicis and Havas, and your role will be to help expand to this list of amazing clients and brands.
£25,000 - £26,000 Base, dependent on level.
OTE of £35K
