The role of Payment
Specialist (Field Sales) is an unrivalled opportunity to launch a

Specialist (Field Sales) Package:
- £25,000-£32,000 salary banding

You will develop and deploy key new business strategies to enable
recruitment and implementation of Payment Acceptance solutions within
the SME market - selling the full range of Barclaycard solutions on a
regional basis. You'll also be involved in some national activity,
working in a team environment with both desk and strategic partners.
Payment
Specialist (Field Sales) Role:
- Identify and recruit new customers, lead commercial negotiations and exchange legal contracts within the SME market
- Actively sell the full range of Barclaycard Business solutions, where appropriate
- Engage in Relationship Management, to build ongoing relationships with external customers
- Develop a personal sales plan to achieve targeted objectives and goals within a designated territory
- Cultivate and handoff leads to other members of the New Business Team, liaising closely with the wider new business team
- Attend relevant events to develop New Business opportunities and create a close working relationship & joint understanding with Barclays Local Business Teams within your region
- Provide expertise and consultancy in evolving markets, build and evolve great working relationships at regional level with contacts and strategic partners
Payment Specialist Requirements:
- Educated to degree level
- Great interpersonal/communication skills
- Engaging and energetic with a positive outlook
- Good understanding of the B2B sector and fully aware of industry trends in the UK and overseas
- Good working knowledge of the bank's products and services
- Proven team player who can articulate "bigger" picture scenario when considering customer needs
