Accounting Advisory and Assurance Graduate Programme - KPMG 2021
This year celebrates 150 years of KPMG in the UK supporting businesses to grow, our people to achieve and our communities to thrive. Our largest practice is Audit, which helps to build the confidence and trust that business and society needs. In Tax & Law, Consulting, Deal Advisory and Technology & Engineering, we help companies to solve some of their most complex business challenges.
What is Audit?
Working in Audit involves examining organisations and ensuring their published accounts provide a 'true and fair' view of their financial position. Today, more than ever, Audit is a function needed by society; with the positive impact it can have on investment decisions and inspiring confidence in public sector expenditure ultimately supporting economic growth.
About the KPMG Accounting Advisory and Assurance Graduate Programme
Some of the world’s biggest companies and most innovative start-ups rely on us to provide independent insight, challenge and high-quality audit expertise, which means that our Audit graduates can get under the skin of a variety of organisations.
Our Accounting Advisory and Assurance (AAA) programme is designed to help you gain and refine business, accounting and assurance skills by learning to provide a broad range of accounting advice and assurance services over financial and non-financial information, processes and controls.
You will have opportunities to deliver high quality insight on various aspects of financial and non-financial functions and be equipped with valuable technical skills, broad commercial understanding and in-depth knowledge of different industry sectors.
This programme allows you to focus purely on your ACA qualification in your 1st year. In the remaining 2 years of your training contract you can concentrate on building a fantastic range of work experience, with only 1 exam left to complete.
Benefits and training
We offer a competitive salary and a host of great benefits, including 25 days holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday. You’ll also have access to an extensive programme of internal training geared towards your career and personal development and be encouraged to make a difference through a range of volunteering opportunities.
You’ll need to have, on be on course to achieve, a minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline. See specific programme pages for further detail. We will however look at more than just your academic results and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. See our ‘How to Apply’ sections for graduates for further guidance.
