We are currently on the hunt for a switched on and ambitious graduate to join our Key Accounts team as an Account Manager, helping to build and deliver graduate programmes for FTSE 100 companies and some of the UK’s most loved brands. 


The Role

This person will be an Account Manager within the Wiser Graduates team. The key here is relationship management, not sales. It’s crucial for this person to build lasting relationships with senior people in important businesses, as we guide them through their graduate recruitment process. Responsibilities include:

·     Contributing to the design and planning of graduate recruitment programmes, from launch, to delivery, to debriefing

·     Representing the client as though part of the internal talent acquisition team; living and breathing the client’s values and understanding the correct answers to any questions a candidate may have

·     Able to manage the candidate lifecycle through from application to offer management

·     Managing client communications from updates about the process, to providing shortlists, packs for assessment centres and offers

·     Headhunting students and graduates from “Red Brick” and “Russell Group” universities

·     Shortlisting CVs and interviewing via; telephone, video, FaceTime/Skype and face to face

·     Building and maintaining connections with Wiser’s graduate and student network

·     Constantly revaluating the process to make efficiencies and use innovative technologies

·     Remaining informed on hot recruitment trends and topics of debate such as diversity and inclusion and blind recruitment


Skills required:

·     Communication and reporting – consistently excellent client communications and reporting that is accurate and informative.

·     Project management – successful leading of a project, acting as the principle contact and project manager.

·     Account management – understanding the needs of clients and ability to confidently discuss the commercial value that we offer.

·     Strong business acumen and expertise – able to positively influence clients by gaining the trust and respect of Director/C-suite level.

·     Process driven and meticulous attention to detail – excellent prioritising, organising and coordinating skills to ensure activities and projects are delivered without fail.

·     Proactive with a can-do attitude – no success is simply linear, you will take the steps necessary to achieve a best outcome.

·     Diligent and self-analytical – ability to constantly revaluate and analyse processes. You must be interested and eager to stay on top of current trends and topics.

·     Previous experience in recruitment and/or project management would be beneficial, however, this is not a prerequisite.
