Account Executive

£35,000 basic + £15,000 uncapped commission

Stratford upon Avon (Remote/work from home)

Incredible opportunity to join a hyper-growth software company, who are accelerating the growth of their sales team in the UK after a successful $16m Series A funding round in 2020. They are looking for an Account Executive to join and help them build their mid-market presence.

This company are the SaaS pioneer for the deal economy and have NO competitors within their space. They have over $500 billion in transactions put through their platform every year. They have offices in San Francisco and the UK and plan to expand to the rest of Europe and Asia over the next 3 years - huge progression opportunity.

Customers include Travis Perkins and Wickes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Spearhead new growth and adoption of the platform in <accounts <$500m (£350m).
  • Responsible for building pipeline, identifying and qualifying potential new customers
  • Identifying and generating new business opportunities through a mix of self generated pipeline plus leads passed from the business development teams
  • Mapping potential clients, running sales campaigns, delivering demos and closing deals
  • Responsible for an annual revenue number which supports the overall growth of the business.

YOU WILL BE:

  • Let’s get this one out the way immediately – hit your quota!
  • A top performer in your current role and have an extensive track record of success
  • Either an Account Executive looking to move to a rocket ship or a talented sales development representative with over 18 months experience, ready to take that next step into a client facing role.
  • Working in a more complex sales environment selling direct to finance departments, procurement ( as the customer) or C level contacts
  • You understand the importance of aggressively pursuing outbound activity to build pipeline and take full responsibility for your KPIs. You are acutely aware of what it takes on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to build a territory.
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to engage across the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, consultative selling, value selling, presenting/demonstrating, developing proposals, overcoming objections and closing deals.
  • Ensure effective customer onboarding and long-term success through collaborate with the Customer Success team.
  • You are inquisitive with a thirst for knowledge and a willingness to spend time learning all aspects of a company’s product, customer pain points and value-based selling.
  • You are operationally strong and can demonstrate a good understanding and appreciation for all the sales tools at your disposal.
  • You are a great communicator and willing to be creative in your prospecting to break open an account.
