An independent creative and strategic agency which lists many multinationals and big brands amongst its clients. The Agency is formed of senior planners and creatives. Some are specialists in brand and business development. Others are experts in fundraising and customer marketing. All of them believe in digging beneath accepted facts, figures and attitudes to find truth of their client's business challenges. The results of which are relevant, powerful ideas, whatever the brief, the channel or discipline.

This is a 3 month internship paying National Minimum Wage.

How you can expect to spend your day:

• You will join the business to learn all about working in a creative advertising agency and gain knowledge and experience of what it's like to work within the industry. No two days are the same at the agency and you can expect to undertake the following:
• Shadow your mentor to gain insight into the day-to-day role of account handling from receiving a client brief through to creative development and final delivery of each project
• Learn how to carry out market research and present learnings back to the account team
• Attend briefing sessions, resource planning sessions and other internal meetings across the agency
• Learn and understand the key functions across the agency through full inductions into each business area
• Learn how to complete creative briefs, brief creative teams and attend creative review sessions
• Check and review creative work before it leaves the agency to ensure high quality output every time
• Gain experience in general admin, such as learning how to complete client status reports, project cost estimates and timing plans
• Ensure financial administration of relevant projects are kept up to date
• Contribute to creative brainstorms and planning sessions

The ideal intern's personality and qualifications:
• A strong interest in creative advertising/marketing
• Ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently, in order to effectively learn from the account team as well as accommodating other requests throughout the day from the wider team
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• A bright and lively personality with a can do attitude - no task is too big or too small
• Eager to absorb new information and develop professional skills and experience
• A strong communicator, both written and verbal
• Highly organised with an attention to detail
