'An understanding of the range and how it’s performing is vital to the role, so my day usually starts by checking reports and current sales figures and trends. There’s a big focus on maintaining delivery dates by liaising with suppliers over any issues. Seeing ranges that I’ve been involved with appearing on the shelves and performing well gives the figures relevance and makes things much more interesting!'
