GSK has a large, established SAP landscape that consists of over 27,000 users using £25M of SAP software. At the beginning of 2010 the GSK Executive team approved a major ERP implementation programme that will upgrade and extend the current landscape for our Commercial users over the next five years.

The Programme
The aim of this programme is to develop a pipeline of UK based SAP competent graduates to support the current and future GSK SAP strategy and landscape. Whilst on the programme associates will be integrated in to the existing organisations that support and deliver GSK current and future SAP systems.
The programme is a three year rotational development programme, comprised of three one-year rotations. This is combined with targeted investments in SAP training and up to 6 months spent working within SAP. Some roles also include the potential to have a rotation within a business function.
Whilst on the programme, Associates receive a range of personalised support which may include some or all of: a Sponsors Group, Business Unit Representatives, a Programme Manager, Line Manager, a mentor and a buddy.
In order to be successful on the programme you need to be resilient, proactive, an effective influencer, establish good working relationships have excellent communication skills and be passionate about IT in Business.
