The Airbus DEG Programme provides an invaluable opportunity to master the managerial and technical skills required by Airbus. The placement structure allows me to gain experience in engineering units around my main area of expertise in fuel systems and I am currently assigned to A350 wing architecture. Airbus is a hugely diverse global organisation and there are many fantastic opportunities available to those who have ambition and want to progress their career or move into other areas of expertise.

For those interested in pursuing an international career, we offer many opportunities in the longer term. Some DEGs may also complete a placement at one of these sites during the programme.

The starting salary for the DEG programme is reviewed annually. For 2012 it will be £25,000 with a £2,750 welcome payment. Other benefits include:
