Fuelled by tea? Energetic start-up needs web-savvy graduate

teapigs needs web-savvy graduateLondon-based start-up teapigs is looking to expand their energetic team with an E-Commerce Assistant, responsible for maintaining an innovative web presence and online shop.

Formed in 2006 by tea lovers Nick and Louise, teapigs has since grown to be one of the most dependable brands for high-quality tea. The company, based out of Brentford, West London, has established a reputation for supplying ethically-sourced teas from around the world, and they are now looking for a graduate to help grow their online presence.

The E-Commerce Assistant will join the young team and work as the sole point of contact with online customers. The goal is to ensure that potential customers enjoy a brilliant online experience on all of teapigs' international e-commerce sites.

Other duties for the successful graduate will include working with the Head of E-Commerce and Marketing to manage their Ocado and Amazon accounts, with a view to managing promotional offers and marketing new products. The successful applicant will also be expected to help out with other e-commerce duties when covering for absences or during busy periods.

For the role, teapigs are keen to employ a digitally-savvy graduate who not only loves tea, but also e-commerce and web development. The teapigs team is small and fun, so graduates considering the role must be ready to make their voice heard and be able to deliver great customer service.

Nick and Louise started teapigs to encourage Britain to 'drink real tea.' Both founders believe that, for a nation of tea-drinkers, what was on offer was limited and of poor quality. So they set up teapigs to change the tea market. Their E-Commerce Assistant must share this commitment to quality, and show a drive to corner the online market in specialty teas.
