A new programme of apprenticeships has been launched to take in recent graduates and people aged 18-24.
The Octavia Foundation, based in London, is rolling out the schemes to mark the 100th anniversary of the death of Octavia Hill, the housing charity's original founder.
Octavia Hill pioneered the idea of social housing, managing her first three properties in Marylebone, London, in 1865 and going on to be responsible for 3,000 tenants. She was also an employer, providing paid or voluntary work to help people out of a job gain skills.
The Octavia Foundation helps west and central London communities, and has provided support for hundreds of people at different stages of their careers.
The charity's new apprenticeships will launch in April as part of its new training scheme, Future Foundations, which began life in April.
