UK graduates seeking job opportunities slightly further afield might benefit from the creation of 50 new roles at a Dublin Volkswagen dealership.
In the coming 18 months, Frank Keane Holdings aims to offer the new positions, which are to be supported with funding from Volkswagen Bank.
The dealership, which opened on the city's Long Mile Road earlier this month, is capable of providing service facilities and boasts a commercial vehicle showroom.
In addition to commercial vehicles, the dealership will also offer cars to ordinary consumers.
With 40 years of experience behind it, Frank Keane Holdings already runs BMW dealerships on the Naas Road and in Blackrock.
The creation of new jobs at the Dublin dealership comes after a difficult period for the Irish motor industry. The end of the country's scrappage scheme during the summer has had a negative impact on sales of new cars.
