Graduates seeking both short-term and long-term opportunities could be buoyed by the chance to work at a new Amazon fulfilment centre in Hertfordshire.
The world's largest online retailer has announced that both temporary and full-time positions will be available when the site in Hemel Hempstead opens in time for Christmas next year.
Amazon's new UK base is part of a fresh investment programme by the firm, which has been boosted by its Kindle electronic reader's success.
The next move for the forward-thinking online giant is a tablet version of the Kindle, which has been designed to compete with Apple's iPad.
Chief executive Jeff Bezos is already highly confident about the product as pre-orders for the tablets have forced the firm to build "millions more" than initially planned.
The Kindle Fire tablet is slated for a November 15 in the US, but no UK release date has been set yet.
