Graduates shopping for jobs should look towards German supermarket Aldi as it looks to fill between 90 and 120 vacancies.
Candidates could follow in the footsteps of Karen Walker - recently been appointed a regional manager supervising four stores.
Shortly after graduating with a Business Studies and French degree at Birmingham University, the 25-year-old was handed the keys to a store.
As well as the £40,000 starting salary and Audi car on offer, she was pleased interview process was simple and swift and graduates receive comprehensive retail management training.
She explained: "The high levels of responsibility from very early in your career was a major influence - no other jobs could compare. What's more, Aldi offers unprecedented variety in the work you do, providing experience in all areas, from finance to store operations and HR.
"From day one I was thrown in at the deep end and handed the keys for a store. It's tough, but I thrive on a challenge."
