Systems Engineers

Our client’s Systems Engineering Graduates have an opportunity to work on some of the most exciting technology driven projects, as well as undertaking a challenging training programme that involves a mixture of courses and on the job training. You may experience many of the aspects of engineering research activities including requirements analysis through to prototype build, testing and trials.

A high achiever, you ideally will be at 2.1 level or above in a relevant engineering degree. You will be flexible, creative, self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a ‘can do approach’. A team player with excellent communications skills, you will relish a challenge. Someone who enjoys solving problems, you will be prepared to challenge assumptions and deliver alternative approaches. You will also have a good general understanding of the engineering development process, systems engineering and how complex electronics systems interrelate and interconnect.

Our client’s structured training programme will include internal and external training courses, culminating in a recognised professional engineering qualification.

Successful applicants should be prepared to undergo security clearance prior to appointment.

Skills Required

Engineering related degree, Computer Science degree & knowledge of Software development lifecycle. Electronics and Electrical Engineering candidates preferred but other Engineering disciplines will be considered.

Salary

Salaries from circa £23,500 to circa £25,500 (up to £27K with PhD)
