Graduate Trainee Accountant

Our Client an accountancy firm based in Oxfordshire is looking for Graduate Trainee Accountants to Join their firm to learn all aspects of accountancy. Applicants would be expected to process to qualified chartered or certified status. a comprehensive study package is provided.

The Job:

Accountancy (Preparing accounts for the smaller client)
Preparation of bank reconciliations.
Extraction of information from clients books and records to enable simple Income and Expenditure Account to be prepared.
Preparation of manual control accounts e.g.
Bank
Cash
Sales ledger
Purchase ledger
VAT
PAYE/NIC/Wages
Taxation (Dealing with smaller clients business and income tax computations)
Preparation of simple income tax and capital allowance computations.
Preparing income tax forecasts under Schedule DI/II.
Auditing (Normally assisting more senior members of staff)

We're Looking For:

A 2.1 degree or equivalent ideally in a finance related field
Strong maths skills demonstrated by strong Maths A level and GCSEs (please highlight all academic achievements on your CV failure to do so will be rejected)
