Your Profile

A Graduate looking to develop a committed career within accountancy you will ideally have some experience of working in a customer service environment, being able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel, customers and management. Experience of working within a large and complex financial environment would be desirable, but not essential, as would a background in the use and understanding of computerised finance systems and procedures. You will naturally be very analytical and also a strong researcher, with the ability to put together presentations and detailed documents to a high standard.You will be a good team player able to work autonomously to help deliver the team goals and targets. Ultimately you will be extremely focused in committing yourself to this 3 year project and developing a career within the finance market.

The Role

Working within the Central Finance Unit you will liaise with specific departments and clients, controlling budgets of anywhere between £35-£80M. This exciting opportunity will offer a Graduate the chance to enrol on a 3 year Training programme, resulting in the candidate becoming a fully qualified accountant. All papers, exams and study materials will be financed by the company, and you will work closely with a specific mentor. On a daily basis you will support senior members of the finance team, putting together documents, completing research and analytical tasks, problem solving and compiling action plans. You will also act as a point of contact for relevant clients and departments.
