Your Profile
A high calibre Graduate with a Construction related degree, ideally covering some Estimating Modules and QS (From a costing point of view), you will now be keen to develop a career within a commercial environment, with aspirations of fast tracking into a managerial position. Working across a number of different departments, sites and clients, it is essential that you have exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and work across a number of projects simultaneously and effectively. You will have excellent administrative and office skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to deliver written documentation in an articulate manner. Self motivated with a strong work ethic you will have the ability to prioritise your work load and work with a degree of autonomy whilst achieving team goals. Experience of Tender Applications, Project Management or Costings would be extremely advantageous
The Role
A 2 year Graduate Leadership Programme, this is an extremely varied position with real responsibilities and the opportunity to move into a Commercial Management position following completion of the programme. Liaising as the commercial interface between the company and it's clients, this role is extremely Client Relationship focused! You will be responsible for the management of contracts and budgetary constraints as well as assisting in the preparation of tenders and re-negotiation of existing contracts. You will be involved in the implementation plans and mobilisation of contracts taking responsibility for administrative and managerial aspects of existing client contracts. You will have some budgetary control and maintain effective commercial and contractual relationships with sub-contractors, and assist with the authorisation of sub-contractor payments within pre-specified spending limits. You will assist in the identification of suitable direct service providers as well as supporting and servicing operational teams to ensure all agreed client and internal KPI's are met or exceeded.
