We have opportunities for Graduates to join British Airways in 2009 on our General Management Programme, Leaders for Business. Whether you are looking to develop your general management or professional skills British Airways is looking for highly motivated and capable individuals with a genuine interest in the airline industry to join our business. Ours is a notoriously competitive industry and like all businesses we have demanding challenges ahead of us. However, we believe that with the right people to deliver our strategy, we can meet these challenges head on.

We will also have forthcoming opportunities to join The HR Professionals Programme, Operational Research, Engineering Professionals and IT Professionals Programme.

The Leaders for Business Graduate Programme
Our general graduate development programme is designed to develop managers for the future. We are looking for high potential individuals to develop in a complete range of management capabilities, that can be applied anywhere across our business. The programme is a maximum of 3 years in length, which includes an induction and a variety of placements across the business. All placements are real jobs, with real responsibility and accountability. At the very least you can expect to deliver customer service in a front line role, generate revenue for the company, develop you business awareness, people management and project management skills. The Leaders for Business Programme aims to challenge you. It will be your responsibility to fully exploit the wide range of development opportunities, from networking to formal training available to you during your programme. By the end of your final placement you should have developed a set of key skills and capabilities; an ideal platform for you to continue to develop your career within British Airways.
