Technical translator - German to English

Graduate in German and/or Translation Studies (native English speaker)

Our progressive language business with a small, dedicated staff needs an equally dedicated language graduate, preferably with some practical translation experience, to join its professional team.

Balthasar works closely with a number of major German heating equipment manufacturers, for whom it translates and desktop-publishes technical and sales literature and various other commercial documents. Modern translation tools assist us, not least TRADOS, in making our work consistent and fast, which helps to keep us competitive.

The successful candidate will be a native English speaker and have a good degree in German. Some experience in translating technical documentation is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary and excellent working conditions, as can only be found in a small business. Training will be provided as required.
