Client Research Executive (Oxford, UK) - nielsen

Summary of Role
You will be leading day-to-day project management for small to medium-sized studies. You will support senior colleagues for project management on larger studies.
Key project management activities include:
• Supplier briefing and management, fieldwork tracking

• Regular client communication regarding progress / issue resolution

• Setting up client questionnaires, working closely with a senior team member who advises on optimal design to address client's objectives

• Data checking and reporting (specifying report needs, charting, formatting, data checking). This may involve directly doing the work and/or managing/checking work outsourced to a 3rd party.

This role provides high quality client service to develop long term, positive relationships with clients. You will support senior CR team members to provide strategic and tactical consumer insights to aid client decision making. You may present or part-present research findings and insights to clients.

The Person
The successful applicant will have some/all of the following:
• A genuine interest in and passion for ad hoc consumer or B2B research
• An understanding of and interest in brands and marketing
• A demonstrable competence in analysis, research and statistical techniques
• Be IT literate and proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
• Numerate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Possesses an understanding of the UK FMCG environment
• Educated to degree level in a business discipline or equivalent business experience.
