Case Study
Caudwell - Sam Jones Sam Jones,
Operations Graduate

"Since commencing my employment with the Caudwell Group on their Operations Graduate Scheme less than a year ago I have had real opportunity not only to get involved and learn about operations in a warehousing and logistics environment, but also to make a real contribution to the success of a rapidly expanding part of the business

The Caudwell Group is a company that never stands still. During my time here I have been thrown into, and experienced the implementation of a new warehousing management system, a warehouse move, along with the merging of two companies within Caudwell, things that many people may never experience throughout their whole logistics career.

Whilst Caudwell is a demanding company to work for, with a high pressure, aggressive culture, it is also a very young and dynamic company bubbling with energy, allowing you to develop and achieve as much as possible, for yourself and the company, by giving you real responsibility from the very beginning. There is real backing for the scheme from all areas of the business, acknowledging that you need to be stretched, challenged and developed as far as possible, whilst at the same time acknowledging that this is, for many, the first full time role you have encountered. Caudwell do this by providing as much resources and support as possible, in the form of reviews, clear objective setting, mentoring and courses, along with exposure to Senior Managers to help fulfil the aims of the graduate scheme and develop you into managers of the future!"
