Training & Profiles

The European Engineering Development Programme consists of three practical 8-month assignments over two years which will give you a broad range of experience and knowledge of the company - a sound foundation on which to build a successful career. Responsibility, flexibility and individual career planning are fundamental to the programme. We currently operate in 13 European countries, developing graduates as a European resource. Assignments are available throughout Europe and the company supports language training.

Apart from on the job training, extensive internal courses are available to support your personal development. All our graduate recruits are allocated a mentor to advise them through the programme and onwards in their career. The company has a strong network of graduates both past and present to assist you not only in work, but outside work as well!

You should impress others with your drive for results, creative problem solving and organising ability. We require individuals who will succeed in a team environment and you should be an effective communicator capable of building relationships with individuals at all levels. A second European language is an advantage but not essential.

The Programme is accredited by the IMechE.

Information & FAQ

Graduates are typically based at our Head Office in Surrey for their first 8-month assignment and are expected to be geographically mobile. Second and third assignments are available throughout the UK in offices such as Basingstoke, Carrington, Acrefair and Ellesmere Port, and also throughout Europe in countries such as Belgium, The Netherlands, France and Spain.

We regret that we are unable to consider applications from candidates who do not have the right to work in Europe without restriction or limitation.
