Our policy
At graduate-jobs.com we try to ensure that all users find the website easy to use. We implement specific policies to provide you with an accessible site with a simple and easy browsing experience. We are always looking for ways to improve the service for all our users.
Navigation:
Accessibility keys -
Access keys are keyboard shortcuts that replace the need to use a mouse for navigation. For this document, you can use:
- ALT - A (press enter) for Accessibility page.
- ALT - H (press enter) to go to the homepage.
- ALT - R (press enter) to go to Registration Page.
- ALT - n NAME: input field
- ALT - d Date Of Birth: input field

Content:
- The site has been created as a "text only" version and we endeavour
to use text, and provide a text equivalent for every non-text element
whenever possible
- We have used pictures and symbols in addition to text where
appropriate
- We encourage and implement the use of scrolling pages instead of
multiple pages where possible
- Navigation links are in a consistent location and form links are
highlighted and are separate from the main body of content
- E-mail updates are sent as text only where possible
Coding & Production:
- Content is left aligned if content spans two lines
- Text can be resized in many browsers
- Site can be used with javascript turned off
- We have limited the use of flash on the site wherever possible
Technical:
- graduate-jobs.com uses an html validator before published pages are
made live
Design:
- Colors used are from the web safe color palate
- Ensured that there is a sufficient contrast between the text color
and the background color
- Implemented a plain solid background
- Provided consistent navigation
- Provided clear and consistent section titles
- Provided a logical tab order through screen elements
- Ensured tables and div tags are properly designed
- Chosen and used consistent font
- Avoided blinking text and images
